RESOURCES FOR PARTNERS OF SEX ADDICTS

Love Addicts, Sex Addicts, Partners, Betrayed. It hurts. We can help.
My heart goes out to all of you who are, or were, partners of a sex addict.   I know that the betrayal perpetrated against you has caused intense pain, and that your entire world has been turned upside down and inside out.  I want you to know that there is hope and healing for you.  You can move beyond this pain, whether you move on alone or together with a recovering addict.  Please know, you didn't cause the addiction, you can't control it either, but you can heal from the devastation it has left in it's wake.

Therapy Groups For Partners

The partners support group meets weekly.  In the company of other partners, get the tools and support you need in order to move forward with your own healing.   You are not alone!  The group is invitation only, so if you are interested in joining, please call to inquire when the next opening will be.

Books for Partners
Your Sexually Addicted Spouse: How Partners Can Cope & Heal by Barbara Steffans PhD.  This is a very good book for partners, and it is one of the recommended first reads for my clients struggling with a sexually addicted significant other.  I personally think it is *the* book.  Dr. Steffans is a very compassionate and intelligent clinician, educator, advocate and champion for partners.
Written for partners of sex addicts, by Stephanie Carnes, PhD., and other notable authors.
